Stream Play-offs put on hold

"The stream Play-offs will be delayed because of the case against Real Hearts FC."

SEDIBENG.- Sedibeng Ster Sport has learned that the SAFA Sedibeng SAB League’s Stream Play-offs have been put on hold. To date, Real Hearts and Real Barcelona FC are the two teams that are supposed to battle it out in the stream Play-play offs to produce the overall winner to represent Sedibeng at Regional Promotion Play-offs for ABC Motsepe League.

However, as things stand, Sedibeng Ster Sport was reliably informed that the stream Play-offs has been delayed due to the fact VUT FC has lodged a complaint against Real Heart FC for using  a defaulter in their league matches. Real Hearts FC was campaigning in Stream B challenging the league title with VUT FC while Real Hearts FC were eventually crowned the champion in the stream.

Sedibeng Ster Sport attempt to get hold of VUT Football Manager, Adolfas Tsotetsi for comment was unsuccessful as his phone continued to ring unanswered at the time of going to print. However, a reliable source told Sedibeng Ster Sport  that the stream Play-offs will be delayed because of the case against Real Hearts FC.

“I don’t see the Play-offs playing very soon because VUT FC has lodged a complaint to the league that Real Hearts FC was not using  properly registered players in some of the league matches including against them. Some of the teams were complaining about Real Hearts for using players who were not properly registered, but they didn’t lodge a protest. There was lot of claims against Real Hearts but the biggest mistake those teams made was to wait until the end of the season. They could have lodge a protest because the rules allowed them, but they waited for the end of the season. This matter could have been sorted out before the end of the season if those teams applied the rules. If this is indeed the case, I think the league will  be behind the scheduled in this region because of this matter unless the league dealswith this situation as soon as possible,” said a club official who didn’t want to be named.
