Tau Dia Rora helps vulnerable people

"We will continue to plough back into our community.”

SEBOKENG.- Members of the Tau Dia Rora Zone 10 Sub Branch rolled up their sleeves recently to help vulnerable people at the Tshwara Lere Community Centre in the Industrial Park, Zone 10.

The visit was organised to give back to the local community through donations.

During a first-of-its-kind initiative for the group, the sub-branch handed out a variety of items, including essential toiletries. The organisation hailed the event a massive success and promised to return in the future. Members stated that there is a serious need to support the community, particularly those who are in desperate need of assistance.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, organisation representative, Lungile ‘Ntate Mazaza’ Wandlala said it was a memorable day for both the elderly people and the staff members at the centre. He explained that giving back to the community remains a vital part of the organisation’s mission, adding that this will certainly not be their last effort to help those in need.

“We want to thank our members for supporting this initiative, and it was heartwarming to see those elderly people happy. As Tau Dia Rora Zone 10 Sub Branch, we will continue to plough back into our community,” he concluded.
