New ranks for Umkomaas police officers
Acting station commander Lieutenant Colonel Mthembeni Zungu motivated them to abide by the code of conduct, the police safety guidelines, to be vigilant at all times.
Umkomaas Saps is proud of several members who received promotional ranks recently.
This was conferred by acting station commander Lieutenant Colonel Mthembeni Zungu and support commander Lieutenant Colonel Friedah Nkomo at Umkomaas Saps conference centre recently.
The chaplain, Captain (Reverend) Magwaza, invoked the lords blessings on this auspicious occasion.
Zungu congratulated the members on their promotion.
He further reiterated that with these promotions come responsibility, and that every effort must be made for strict compliance.
“We need to attain success in terms of our key performance indicators in the annual operational plan,” said Zungu.
He further motivated colleagues to abide by the code of conduct, the police safety guidelines, to be vigilant at all times and ensure that they sustain the momentum as the number one winning station in the province.
Officers that received promotions are: Asanda Bhebhula, Sheveen Sewsunker, Bongekile Prisca Nyawose, Siyabonga Mthembu, Selvanathen Govender, Simenyiwe Samuel Khubisa, Nonhlanhla Olga Mqadi, Nondumiso Hellen Mbava, Mlamuli Cyril Nyuswa, Dayalan Ponnen and Mbongeni Walter Hlengwa.
