URC chairperson Morgan Naidoo condemns illegal dumping. “As much as we and other organisations are eager to contribute to keeping our environment clean, this comes with deep frustration.”
He added that municipal by-laws are being violated, but the municipality tends to ignore this; and posters on illegal dumping are ineffective if the the law is not exercised.

Sean Pillay thanked everyone for making a difference. “This clean-up was long overdue. I want to warn people living out of Marburg that this area is not a dumping ground.” Report illegal dumping to 039-682-5555.
