Moonlight and headlamps light up night run at Port Shepstone Country Club

The next night run/walk will be on December 18.

It was an epic night at the Port Shepstone Country Club, with fantastic weather setting the scene for a fun-filled 5km night run/walk on September 25.

A total of 125 walkers and runners of all ages and speeds took to the clearly marked route, with the moon and headlamps lighting up the greens as families, friends and youngsters ran, walked and chatted their way around the course.

All smiles after a good run are (from left) Jacob Steynberg, Brode Krause and Jaxton Fink.

The children particularly loved the experience, making it a wonderful evening of healthy activity and fresh air.

Thanks were extended to the sponsors, the club, and Nadine Couch and her family for putting the evening together and creating such a welcoming event for everyone.

Working behind the scenes are (from left) Liza du Toit, Sonia van Niekerk-Maharaj, Ari Maharaj and Wynona Crouch.

The next night run/walk will be held on December 18.

Lace up and join in the fun!

Ronan Rogers and Erasmus Mvuna place first and second in the male category.
Micaela Senekal and Jayden Botha after the run.
