SOUTHCITY Preparatory’s performance of ‘No place like home’, held on August 20 – 21 had a spectacular turnout and received great feedback from the community. Well done to all pupils and teachers for a first class performance.
College soccer is a popular sport at Southcity with 4 girls’ teams and 4 boys’ teams this year. The U16 boys beat Creston 1-0 and the 1st team boys beat Creston 2-0.
Recently 65 Southcity Christian College pupils spent the day at Hibiscus Pre-primary and painted two classrooms, all classroom and playground equipment, tidied the playground, worked in the gardens and gave the front entrance a facelift. The pupils enjoyed being able to give back to our community and everyone anticipated the pre-schoolers’ faces when they saw the renovations. Well done to all the pupils who took part, a great day was had by all.
