Sad loss for Port Shepstone Junior Primary

The school is mourning the death of a pupil.

PORT Shepstone Junior Primary is mourning the loss of Amisha Maharaj, a true angel of God who was called back because He could not bear to be apart from her. During her short time at the school Amisha touched many people’s lives and will be remembered as a gentle, quiet child who was a pleasure to teach. Amisha was a popular pupil who made friends easily, produced beautiful original art and was an avid member of the school choir.

The PSJP principal, school governing body, parents, staff and pupils extend sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Maharaj family, their extended family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as we share in their enormous loss. May God be with them and afford them the strength they will need to see them through this difficult time.
