SOUTHCITY hosted seven local schools for an interschools’ cross-country event on Thursday last week.
Saturday saw athletes take part in the lower South Coast interschools’ athletics meeting at Suid-Natal Primary. Southcity pupils performed admirably and achieved quite a few podium finishes.
Soccer results against Creston College were U11 girls won 1-0, U11 boys won 10-1, U13 girls won 2-1 and U13 boys won 5-4.

Southcity played soccer against Port Shepstone High last week and it was encouraging to see improved results from Southcity. U14B girls lost 2-3, U14A girls lost 1-2, U16A girls lost 1-2, 1st girls lost 0-2, U14 boys lost 0-5, U16 boys drew 1-1, 2nd boys lost 1-3 and 1st boys 0-2.
Well done to the top runners who recently did their school houses proud in the annual interhouse athletics day.
