Hlanganani excursions a treat

Pupils posed many thought-provoking questions.

HLANGANANI Prep’s gr 4 pupils visited Crocworld last Thursday and were treated to the full guided tour. Highlights included pupils taking part in planting a tree seed after a demonstration. The tour guide was kept busy with many thought-provoking questions from pupils and watching the crocodiles feed was one of the highlights.

Hlanganani Preparatory’s grade 5 pupils went to Ushaka Marine World recently, viewed various creatures such as turtles, stonefish, jellyfish and sharks and finally viewed divers feeding these sea animals. The excursion ended with dolphins swimming and performing, which was extremely exciting.

Grade 6 went on a fun-filled excursion to Sweetdale . First was the foefie slide and instructors ensured all pupils were fitted with a helmet and the relevant body equipment. This activity is designed to help pupils overcome a fear of heights. Afterwards, pupils took to the water-slides in groups to enjoy the fun.
