ON Thursday, September 5, Southcity Preparatory had the privilege of making a small difference in the lives of the pupils at Rehoboth Children’s Village. Southcity staff and pupils were humbled at the gratitude shown for the donation of library books and the excitement and enthusiasm was palpable from the Rehoboth children. Southcity commends all the teachers of this extraordinary establishment for their unconditional love and care towards the children.
Southcity Christian College boys’ soccer teams played South Coast Academy on Thursday, September 5. These very exciting games were evenly matched and well played by all teams involved. Southcity U14 boys drew with South Coast Academy, U16 won 4-3 and the 1st boys won 3-2. With the soccer season drawing to an end, the boys and the girls are finishing the term with an internal ‘cake league’ and interhouse matches this week.
The grade 9 engineering and graphics design pupils have been building bridges and catapults, all designed, drawn and built themselves.
