LAST week saw a great deal of activity in the Creston College phases. All grade 8 to 11 pupils were given an excellent opportunity to ride the zip lines at Lake Eland with their teachers. This exercise formed part of Creston’s adventure week, where pupils in the college phase were exposed to adventure situations.
The grade 11 pupils then moved on to their leadership camp for the rest of the week and learnt about teamwork, and in particular, were given the opportunity of “testing their mettle” in tough situations.
Meanwhile, grade 12 pupils are busy with their trial examinations which started on August 21 and finish on September 11.
The grade 7s held their market day on Friday and great fun was had by all. The weather was beautiful and everyone enjoyed spending money and playing games.
Creston pupils planted trees around campus to celebrate Arbor Week and bought stickers to support casual day.
