WELL done to Southcity pupils Keagan Burton, Joshua Reed, Connor James and Courtney James, who played golf against Creston College recently at Port Shepstone Country Club, winning all their games.
Both the junior and senior debating teams had a busy season this year. The juniors, made up of first-time grade eight debaters, had a fantastic season winning all their debates and making it through to the final round. They were defeated in the final debate by a very worthy Suid-Natal team. Nonetheless, ending their very first debating season as runners-up is definitely something to be proud of. The senior team was also very successful and these experienced debaters won all their debates during the course of the season. They then went on to win the final round, becoming league champions for 2013 and Southcity is exceptionally proud.
The U11A soccer girls drew their match 2-2 and the U11A boys drew their match 1-1 against Izotsha Primary School. All other matches were rained out unfortunately.
