TEACHERS and pupils from grades one to six have had a busy week with writing and marking the annual national assessments in both English and mathematics. Grade sevens have been writing tests over the last two weeks.
The grade Rs recently went on an outing to Fiddlewood Farm (owned by the Benses) where they thoroughly enjoyed seeing the farm animals and going on a forest walk. A puzzle challenge was also recently hosted where pupils had to complete puzzles within a time limit.
The U11 and U13 boys will be playing in the Protea indoor cricket team at the indoor cricket arena in Izotsha on September 28. The game begins at 5pm.
Junior soccer was played against Southcity which resulted in a 0-0 draw. The boys played well and Fynn Weber was selected as ‘man of the match’.
