CRESTON College Team SANESA 2013, namely Emily Elliott, Demi Orsmond, Breece Orsmond, Cyan Jolliffe, Cameron Jolliffe, Pearl Erasmus-Wentzel and instructor Jenny Jolliffe, attended the Sanesa Q3 in the Natal Midlands in August.
Cyan Jolliffe: 1st place, Underberg eventing 70cm; 4th place, Dolcoed eventing 70cm; 1st place Q3 dressage high school prelims test 4; 2nd place, prelims test 2; 5th place, show jumping competition 70cm and 5th place, show jumping speed and precision.
Cameron Jolliffe: 1st place, Q3 high school dressage; 1st place, show jumping 60cm and 2nd place, show jumping 60cm speed and precision.
Emily Elliott: 4th place, Q3 show jumping level 0; 4th place, dressage level 0; 1st place, performance riding level 0 and placed in the dressage level 0.
Demi Orsmond: 5th place, Q3 dressage level 0.
Shre’ya Sewpersad: Placed, Q4 equitation.
The Enviro Club took part in the International Beach Clean-up before the holidays, collecting many bags full of garbage. Well done to those pupils and teachers for giving up their time so generously to make a difference to the environment.
Creston College has also been collecting cans to recycle and built a bird that is so rare, she is called Rrare (Reduce, reuse and recycle, everyone). She is not a toucan but about a 680can!
