Margate Primary’s ‘historic battles’

The grade 6 pupils went on a historical tour recently.

MARGATE Primary’s grade 6 pupils went on a historical tour of the Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift battlefields, where much fun and excitement was had while acting out the historic battles.

At the Elandsheim camp, evenings were filled with games and drumming, while days were taken up with muddy obstacle courses and the zip line into the dam.

Congratulations are extended to Janine Langton on her recent engagement and welcome back to Jenny Botha, who will be helping at the school for the fourth term.

The Margate Primary Eco Club will be holding a beach clean-up, starting at the Margate pier on Saturday, October 12 at 8am.
