GRADE seven pupils had a somewhat hectic, but fun-filled start to their term with their annual two-night excursion to Sweetdale Camp.
The adventures were far greater than pupils had imagined, with activities including high rope courses, zip-lining through tree tops, an exceptionally long, fast water slide, confidence courses, group dynamics, night orienteering and team problem-solving.
The five main aspects of these tasks were safety, commitment, respect, critical thinking, and fun and support, which are five important life skills to succeed in any given task. The pupils were exceptionally well behaved, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Friday morning saw pupils looking somewhat wearier and dirtier than when they had been dropped off, but great fun was had by all and thankfully everybody, including teachers, were able to catch up on their sleep over the weekend.
Everyone at school is looking forward to the beginning of sports activities this week.
