THREE wonderful benches made out of recycled plastic bottles have been donated to the school by KFC. The benches were well received and the school would like to thank KFC for its continuous support. Port Edward Primary has proudly started a recycling project and urges all parents and pupils to support this initiative.
The grade 6 pupils went on their annual outing to Sweetdale Camp last week where they had a very educational time, growing their strengths and learning about themselves and their peers while doing many different outdoor activities, even though it was raining. Pupils were damp on the return trip, but had a thoroughly enjoyable visit.
The junior cricket boys played against Izotsha last week, unfortunately losing their match, but they played very well and in good spirit! Well done, boys!
