GRADE 6 pupils of Port Shepstone Primary have been learning about the universe in natural science. As part of their learning programme, pupils made models of the solar system entirely out of recyclable materials and must be commended on their innovative efforts.
Year-end assessments will be written from November 12 to 15 and pupils are encouraged to start preparing for final examinations.
The annual budget meeting was held on October 23. The proposed budget for 2014 was adopted by parents and the school fee was set at R900.
The grade 7 pupils will be hosting market day on October 30 and are busy advertising and promoting their products. Parents are advised that they will not be allowed to help pupils at their stalls. Outsiders will not be allowed onto the school premises during this day. The school appeals to all parents for their cooperation to make market day a success for their children.
