Herald readers reward the best
Winners were recognised for giving their customers outstanding service.

FOR being (to borrow a line from Tina Turner’s number one hit) simply the best, South Coast businessmen and women were rewarded for their outstanding service.
The South Coast Herald’s `Best of South Coast Readers’ Choice Awards’ were held at Kapenta Bay Hotel in Port Shepstone last Thursday evening.
Forty companies, as voted by Herald readers, were recognised and congratulated for being top of the local crop at the presentation event.
This year’s voting entries tripled compared to last year and the final results were independently audited by Gird Elliot and Company.
Speaking at the presentation, Bevis Fairbrother, South Coast Herald manager, said this year’s Best of South Coast winners were shining examples of being committed to service excellence.
“These awards are aimed at recognising their superb efforts and to inspire other enterprises to emulate their passion and strive to achieve the same high standards they have set. Good service and quality will always be the benchmarks that customers set.
“In an area driven by tourism we feel the Best of South Coast is a good way for our South Coast Herald readers to show their appreciation and give them a pat on the back,” said Mr Fairbrother. Take a look at our winners and some social photos from the event.
