Free rabies jabs available next month
The vaccinations will be available at a number of local clinics.
FEBRUARY on the South Coast is anti-rabies month and the time for the big annual campaign against the deadly disease.
As usual, the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Agriculture and Environmental Affairs will conduct free rabies vaccination clinics for local pets, throughout the South Coast, as follows:
Monday February 3: Port Edward Library (8.30am to 12.30pm) and Nicholson Garage (1.30pm to 3pm).
Tuesday, February 4: Glenmore Supermarket (8am to 10.30am), Munster Protection Services (11am to 12.30pm), Greenhart Supermarket (1.30pm to 3pm).
Wednesday, February 5: Seventh Heaven Superette Cafe (8am to 10am), Marina Beach Library (10.30am to 12.30pm), Impenjati Town Board office (1.30pm to 2pm).
Thursday, February 6: Ramsgate beach parking (8am to noon), Mzimela Centre, Margate Extension 3 (1pm to 2.30pm).
Friday, February 7: Margate Hibiscus Mall (8am to noon), SPCA Uvongo (1pm to 2.30pm).
Monday, February 10: Uvongo Civic Centre (8.30am to 11.30am), Shelly Beach Library and Clinic (12.30pm tp 2.30pm).
Tuesday, February 11: Oslo Beach old state vet office (8.30am to 11.30am), Port Shepstone borough grounds (12.30pm to 2.30pm).
Wednesday, February 12: Albersville’s White City Hall (8.30am to 11,30am) Woodpecker cul-de-sac (12.30pm to 2.30pm).
Thursday, February 13: Lions Grove Singh’s Store (8.30am to 11.30am), Lions Grove Solly Store (12.30pm to 2.30pm).
Friday, February 14: Marburg Library (8.30am to noon), Merlewood DSB office (1pm to 2pm).
Saturday, February 15: Southport beach parking area: (8.30am to noon).
