A BADLY injured dog is recovering after being caught by the mouth in a snare in Lions Grove, Marburg recently.
The Lower South Coast SPCA’s Inspector Julia Watson received a call about a dog caught in a snare and immediately responded.
When she arrived, Ahmed Amegee from Lions Grove, Marburg, helped her cut through some very thick bush to get down to the valley. It was there they found the dog in the snare. Julia also found another three snares while rescuing the dog.
Michael Muller, SPCA manager, said the dog was currently under treatment at the SPCA.
Ahmed said if no one claims the dog he would like to adopt it.
