AN evening of partying at a holiday flat in Manaba led to one person dying on Tuesday night this week.
Police spokesman Captain Gerald Mfeka said that residents close to the flat phoned the police complaining about four holidaymakers involved in a brawl.
“On arrival at the flat the police arrested one man for common assault. After the police left, a scuffle broke out between the other three men and and one pulled out a knife and stabbed another to death. He was later arrested by Margate police,” said Captain Mfeka.
Both men are currently in custody at the Margate police station and will be appearing in court soon.
