GAUTENG man Timothy van Biljon (34) has warned South Coasters to be extra vigilant.
This comes after he was robbed 16 times, he says, while on holiday in the area.
He said he was beaten up and an amount of R800 stolen from him. This was money he was going to use to get home.
He claimed that he was robbed at taxi stops and train stations on the coast, while trying to return home.
“I was armed with pepper spray but it didn’t help,” he said.
“I am fed-up with the crime in KwaZulu-Natal, and I am desperate to get home,” he added.
He has opened a case at the Port Shepstone police station.
