Murdered – with a butcher’s knife

The man was found with an open wound to the forehead.

A BUTCHER’S knife is believed to have been used in a murder of a 36-year-old man in Nkothaneni location near Gcilima.

According to police spokesman Captain Gerald Mfeka, police found the man lying on the road near Yalo bus stop last Friday at about 8pm.

“The man was found with an open wound to the forehead. A butcher’s knife was found lying next to his body,” said Capt Mfkea.

He added that no arrests had been made as yet and police are investigating a murder case. It is believed that the man was in his mid thirties and from the Mhlalandlinini area.

In another stabbing incident police found the body of a 25-year-old man at the Kwa-Xaba bus stop in Gamalakhe last Sunday.

“The man was found with a stab wound to his chest. Gamalakhe police are investigating a murder case and no arrests have been made,” said Capt Mfeka.
