A MAN who went to investigate a noise was confronted by seven men in King’s Road, Shelly Beach last Friday night.
Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid, said the man (57), who was with his toddler at the time, heard noises and the dogs barking outside.
“He went to investigate and was allegedly confronted by seven men who forced him back into the house,” she said.
Lt-Col Wiid said they then apparently tied him up with shoelaces and a power cord, and fled the house with cash, jewellery, a safe and clothing.
The child was left unharmed next to the father.
