A MAN (51) was arrested in Mcadodo Ward, KwaNzimakwe, for raping his 10-year-old stepdaughter.
Police spokesman Captain Gerald Mfeka said the child claimed this was not the first time she has been raped by the man.
“According to the child, the man left his wife in bed and came into her room and raped her. She said that this was not the first incident as it was her stepfather’s habit to sexually abuse her.”
The man appeared in the Ramsgate Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday this week and the case was postponed to September 23. He remains in custody.
