THE Hibiscus Coast mayor, Cynthia Mqwebu, attended Port Shepstone High’s awards ceremony last week and presented the 2014 dux award to Emilie Wood.
Emilie also received awards for mathematics, music, physics, engineering graphic design and life orientation. Top academic honours were awarded to all pupils who achieved an 85 percent or higher aggregate.
Sheppie High’s annual TADA (Teenagers Against Drug Abuse) hamper raffle was held before the stress of exams set in.
There were eight hampers to be won and the school thanks the very generous sponsors for the vouchers, tea-time or ‘de-stress’ treats, pamper products and numerous other gifts.
