SOME 200 straws of heroin were found hidden underneath a mattress at a house in Marburg last Friday.
Police spokesman Zandra Wiid said Warrant Officer Patrick Gosling and Constable Travis Dickens from the public order policing unit in Port Shepstone, together with Sergeant Stanley Holloway from the Port Shepstone K9 unit, went to the house in Uranus drive in Marburg at about 7.30pm.
“They found 200 straws of heroin hidden in a bedroom. A woman (47) and a man (25) were arrested. They are due to appear at the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court today.The street value of the drugs is estimated to about R7 000,” she said.
