A MAN was arrested after police found dagga in a vehicle in Umtentweni on Tuesday this week.
Police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said Hibiscus Coast Law Enforcement officer Devlyn Abbott spotted two suspicious occupants in a vehicle at Port Shepstone CBD.
Officer Abbott followed the vehicle to Umtentweni, where it was stopped by other police units and a security response vehicle. “The driver and passenger were searched and a plastic bag with dagga weighing at about 415 grams was found in the vehicle,” said Lt-Col Wiid.
Terence Xolani Dlamini (29) paid R1 000 admission of guilt after being charged by Sergeant Joseph Cele of Port Shepstone K9 unit for being in possession of dagga.
