SHEPPIE High honoured all pupils who excelled in sporting activities at last week’s awards ceremony. The award for most improved water polo player went to Christopher Dreyer, Joshua Brauteseth was awarded captain of the first water polo team and Bailey du Plessis walked away with the boys’ hockey player of the year award. Prosperity Zangwa and Qhawe Mnani won the best all-round netball players award.
Robynne Theron was awarded sportswoman of the year and Zola Nompuku received the award for most promising girls’ hockey player. Brandon McGarry won sportsman of the year, Ryan Elliot won rugby player of the year, and Matthew Aldridge, the most improved rugby player.
