A FAMILY on holiday from Bryanston is traumatised after being attacked and robbed by three men at a holiday home in Ramsgate on Monday this week.
According to police spokesman Captain Gerald Mfeka, the family was watching television when three men, armed with knives, forced open a sliding door in the early hours of the morning.
“The men threatened the family, telling them to be quiet, and then demanded that they hand over cellphones and a laptop. The intruders then fled. Bryce Haynes (19) chased after the men and was stabbed in the leg,” said Capt Mfeka.
The teenager was taken to hospital by his father. Margate police are investigating. No arrests have yet been made.
