MARGATE Primary sadly bids farewell to a number of staff members. Jessica Bam is looking forward to the birth of her baby, James Purdon is moving to Southcity Christian Schools and Linda Findlay is going further afield to the Middle East. Good wishes go to them all with wishes of every success for the future.
Both foundation phase and senior primary held their prize-giving last week and there were big smiles all round when juniors received prizes and certificates. Dylan Annandale was awarded the senior primary dux, Siphamandla Ncane and Olwethu Mehlwana shared the ‘sports boy of the year’ and Maneti Dlezi took the ‘sports girl of the year’ award. Gr R also held its final presentation last Friday and had parents thinking hard to solve riddles.
The school takes this opportunity to wish all staff members, parents and pupils, a happy and safe festive season.
