RA Engar awards excellence

Richard and Neroshma Chetty kindly sponsored hampers for all awardees.

RA ENGAR held its annual awards day at the Andhra Sabha Hall at the end of November. This event saw the culmination of another successful school year as the achievements of pupils who demonstrated academic, sporting and creative excellence was celebrated.

The school is extremely privileged to have forged a partnership with two altruistic individuals, namely Richard Chetty and his wife Neroshma. The couple kindly sponsored the mathematics award presented to top achieving maths pupil Yolanda Mutheiwana. They further sponsored a food hamper for all pupils who received awards and they are thanked for their generosity.

Kriven Govender was nominated outstanding cricketer of the year and received the sports award. The ‘Good Fellowship’ award was scooped up by Andiswa Ngcungama and head prefect Imihla Vula claimed the prestigious and coveted dux award.
