PSHS welcomes new intake

Introductory workshops familiarised all pupils with the school’s core values.

SHEPPIE High treated the new gr 8 pupils to a fun-filled orientation programme last week. The principal addressed newcomers at a special assembly and introductory workshops ensured that all pupils were familiar with the school’s core values.

The various workshops included group discussions on rules and expectations, a school tour challenge, mentoring groups, reading tests, mind-mapping and ‘getting to know you’ sessions.

Pupils had a lot of fun with members of the Executive Council of Learners (ECL) during the sport and culture sessions.

The week ended on a fantastic note, with a gr 8 picnic with their ECL mentors during the last lesson last Friday.
