SIZWE Brian Noruwana (20) of Gclima was handed 15 years’ imprisonment at the Ramsgate High Court last Friday for the murder of Leon Badenhorst (59).
Mr Badenhorst was found dead in his bed in his Margate home in December last year.
Noruwana was sentenced to 15 years for murder and one year for theft of money. The sentences will run concurrently. The court took into account that Noruwana was very cooperative and didn’t delay the court.
The investigating officer in the case was Detective Constable Zolile Sibifi.
