CAITLIN and Rachel Upfold took part in the Equestrian Sports Products Show held at the Shongweni Club recently. Caitlin won the Pony Rider Novice Dressage victor ludorum rosette and Rachel beat 15 adults to come first in the Adults Prelim Dressage Test. She was also placed fourth in the Oriental Coin Competition for dressage and show jumping.
Last Friday Izotsha senior primary staff members hosted a St Valentine’s Day event to raise funds for a new laminating machine. A lively, jubilant atmosphere prevailed with pupils dressed in red and white.
Despite the sweltering heat, cricket teams played excellent cricket against Suid-Natal Primary. The U11B team won with 5 wickets taken by Guy Henderson. The U11A team won by 7 wickets, with Reece Murray taking 3 and Kellie Ashington and Bruce Bormann each taking 2. The U13A team won by 7 wickets. Chad Laycock scored 65 runs and Josh Jacobs took 3 wickets for 3 runs in 2 overs.
