Sorry, no jobs for sale here

Handing over money is no guarantee that you will be shortlisted for a job.

LAST week it was the hospital, now it seems one can also ‘buy’ a job at the new Port Shepstone courthouse.

The court’s head of judiciary has warned people not to fall for this scam.

No amount of money will get you through the door. One can only do that if you have the right qualifications and if there is a vacancy.

The court is still under construction and fraudsters are claiming there will be jobs aplenty. They entice desperate job-seekers with promises of getting them onto ‘a shortlist’… for a fee.

Should anyone be approached by one of these criminals, please ask for a cellphone number and police will do their best to track them down.
