THREE bags of dagga – weighing about 13 kg – are not going to make it to market, thanks to a roadblock hastily set up at the Southbroom traffic lights by Margate Crime Prevention officers on Sunday.
They were tipped off that the large haul was on board a taxi travelling from Bizana to Port Shepstone.Passengers were searched and one of them, Mzukisi Nontangana (24), was arrested for allegedly being in possession of the drugs.
He appeared in the Ramsgate Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
