Sentenced for stoning girlfriend to death
The woman was found with multiple injuries all over her body.
MHLENGI Ayanda Bhengu (30) was handed 15 years’ imprisonment at Ixopo Regional Court last week for stoning his girlfriend to death.
In September 2014, the body of 33-year-old Thobisile Biyase, was found in the Springvale area with multiple injuries on her body Detectives at Highflats opened a murder docket.
Shortly afterwards Bhengu was traced and arrested. It was established that Bhengu had killed his girlfriend by stoning her after an argument broke out.
