Repeat offender sentenced

A man out on parole for house robbery was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment.

A BURGLAR from Woza, in the KwaNzimakwe area, Nathi Jaca (31), who was out on parole, is now behind bars again for 10 years after being found guilty of a similar crime in Glenmore on March 31.

The Ramsgate Magistrate’s Court heard last Monday that the man had also robbed a house in Port Edward last year.

The Glenmore homeowner actually gathered information about the crime and passed it on to investigating officers.

Constable Sabata Cele and Warrant Officer Diba Nzimakwe followed up and arrested Jaca (31) near Port Edward.
