Man arrested for discharging firearm
The reason for the man firing the shots is under investigation.
A MAN (31) was taken into custody for allegedly firing shots in Panorama Parade, Margate, last Sunday.
“The man fired the shots with his licensed firearm,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Wiid.
“The reason for him doing so is under investigation, but it is suspected that he was intoxicated at the time of the incident.”
The man appeared in court on Tuesday this week. The case was postponed for further investigation.
