Woman raped by ex-boyfriend

A WOMAN (24) was raped by her ex-boyfriend in Izingolweni last Saturday night.
It is believed that the woman went to collect a child support grant from the father of her child.
He had apparently called her and told her to collect the money.
However, when she arrived, he told her that he didn’t have the money with him, and would have to go and withdraw cash.
“He thereafter raped the woman and fled,” said police spokesman Captain Gerald Mfeka.
Capt Mfeka added that the man was arrested the following day and appeared at the Ramsgate Court on Monday this week.
The case was postponed for further investigation.
