Thieves strike furniture store twice

Nineteen television sets have already been stolen from the furniture store.

A FURNITURE store in the Port Shepstone CBD has been hit twice by thieves.

According to police reports, 11 flat screen television sets were stolen from the store on Tuesday this week. “Two weeks ago, eight television sets were stolen from the same store,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.

“At 2.30am on Tuesday, a security company employee responded to an alarm and went to the shop. He discovered that the locks on the main door were broken and entry had been gained,” said Lt-Col Wiid.
