‘Rapist an unconscionable sexual predator’
The mother's boyfriend was found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting the teens.
A HARDING gardener (53) was earlier today sentenced to 18 years and five years’ imprisonment respectively for raping and sexually assaulting his girlfriend’s two teenaged daughters.
Port Shepstone Regional Magistrate Johann Bester said the girls’ mother, who was nursing a baby on another bed in their bedroom, was deaf and was thus unaware of what her boyfriend was doing to the two girls.
Magistrate Bester described the rapist as ‘an unconscionable sexual predator’ who had to be imprisoned for as long as it took to render him less dangerous to children.
The teenagers and a two-year-child had been made to share a bed with the boyfriend because the wind had blown the roof of their mother’s dwelling away.
