Snake park burgled
The robbers fled with cash, a laptop, clothing, a camera and a credit card machine.
ONE of the South Coast’s favourite tourist attractions and one of the biggest reptile farms in Africa was burgled over the weekend.
Pure Venom Reptile Park in Izotsha, home to an impressive collection of snakes, was broken into and various items were taken.
Port Shepstone SAPS is investigating a housebreaking and theft case. “The dogs were heard barking late on Friday or in the early hours of Saturday,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.
“Someone went to check, but did not notice anything amiss. The next morning, however, he discovered that a lock had been broken and he had been robbed.”

No arrests have yet been made.
