St Faith’s rape suspect sought
The 16-year-old pupil was tied up and and raped at her home.
POLICE are looking for a man aged between 30 and 35 years of age who may be able to assist them with the investigation of a rape case.
Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said Constable Sifiso Gigaba of the Port Shepstone Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences unit (FCS) is investigating the rape of a 16 year old girl on June 22.
“The incident took place at the girl’s home in St Faith’s. She was preparing to go to school when a man entered the home, tied her up and raped her,” said Lt-Col Wiid.
He is of medium build and has a scar on his forehead.
