Update: Police correct statement on Hibberdene murder

Only the woman (56) was charged.

PORT Shepstone police have apologised for  incorrect information supplied regarding  last Saturday’s murder in Hibberdene.

“There was in fact no relationship between the victim and the woman,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.

She added that only the woman (56) appeared in court this morning on a charge of murder.

“Her husband was released yesterday (Sunday) due to insufficient evidence,” she said.
