Update: Drive-by shooting in Oslo Beach
The driver's side door of the vehicle had been shot several times.
A MAN driving an LDV on the main Harding/Kokstad road towards Marburg at around 4.30 this afternoon was shot and killed in what is believed to be a drive-by shooting.
A teenage girl was seen jumping form the vehicle while it was still moving. The vehicle came to a standstill when it crashed into the barrier at the roadside.
Police found both heavy-calibre and handgun cartridges at the scene. The driver’s side door of the vehicle had been shot several times.
The driver, a man, was found with multiple gunshot wounds. The teenage girl was slightly injured and was taken to hospital. It is believed she is related to the driver.
Police are looking for a white sedan seen speeding away from the scene. A murder docket has been opened and investigations are continuing.
