THABO Sukude (31) appeared in the Ramsgate Magistrate’s Court last week for the murder of Capetonian, Nicholas Els (60) in Port Edward last month.
The case was postponed to August 8.
On July 13, police were called to Wild Sea Cabanas in Ramsey Avenue, Port Edward where they found Mr Els’s decomposed body. He had been stabbed multiple times in the upper body.
Police spokesman, Major Thulani Zwane said that Mr Els was in Port Edward on holiday.
“Following an intensive investigation, police tracked down one suspect who was found in possession of Mr Els’s cellphone. A second suspect is still at large. The motive for the killing is still unknown.”
