Update: Shayleen’s killer still at large

POLICE are still searching for the man who stabbed Pretoria teenager Shayleen van Zanten (15) to death for her cellphone in December.

Police have issued an identikit of the man wanted in connection with the murder. At the time of the attack he was dressed in a red T-shirt, black knee length shorts and slops.

Shayleen was a grade 9 pupil at Hoërskool Eldoraigne in Centurion. Anyone with information on the murder can contact Captain Manus Erasmus at 082 3307422.
